How to Measure your Head for a Wig

Step 1: Bring out your soft tape measure

Step 2: Secure your hair in front for your face by pulling your hair up and away from your face, use a hair band. For short hair use head band to hold back the hair.

Step 3: Using the soft tape measure or flexible tape measure. Measure Ear to ear

Step 4: Then next measure the distance from front to back. Pull the tape measure gently down the center of your head until you reach the nape of your neck.

Step 5: Measure the circumference. Lay the tape around back of your head touching the base of your skull at a point where the wig will end and pull it forward just above your ears. Position the end of the tape at the mid-point of your front hairline.
